Why Do Older Men Lust After Younger Women?

While age gap relationship still remains a controversial issue in today's society, it doesn't stop older men from being attracted to younger women, and many people want to know why older men always lust after younger women.

Going back to cave people days, women would choose a strong man to protect her and their child from others. A man would desire an attractive woman, because it meant that she was healthy, and she would also produce an attractive child. Today, older men are healthier than two or three generations ago. Men live longer, and they can dye their hair, and keep up with young active ladies. They want a younger woman, because that’s what they wanted when they were younger too. Nothing has changed. And they know that their ability to snag a younger woman is still possible.

There’s the myth going around that men don’t want to have children. This is perpetuated by people who are spiteful about their past relationships. In fact, men want children as much as women do. Men can have as many children as they want, while women are limited by age and health. If a man has put off having children until he is older, he has no choice but to find a younger partner, one who is still capable of having children. A man can choose a younger woman, who has never had children yet, but is still young and healthy enough to have them.

Older men also lust after younger women for the bragging rights. Men have bragged about their girlfriends and wives since they learned how to speak. Dating a younger woman definitely gets you Boy Scout points in the man’s club. In addition, older men like younger women because of the protective instinct. A younger woman may still have a lot to learn about the world. A man can guide and nurture her. Perhaps she wants to return to college and get a degree. An older man can not only provide the nurturing support, but pay for her school fees as well. All men like to feel wanted and needed.

Having said all this, one of the top reasons is because younger women are extremely attractive. They haven’t developed wrinkles, or the middle aged spread. And younger women may be happier because they haven’t experienced too many of life’s downers yet. Unlike an older woman, she may be bitter because she’s gone through a bad divorce or two.

So we have the right to believe that older men want to have a young woman as his lifetime partner, no matter how the world changes. Fortunately, there are plenty of younger women willing to have a stable life with an older man.
